Nonprofit Management Seminars

Nonprofit Management Seminars

Cause Oregon, Baker County Economic Development, and NEOEDD are pleased to bring a series of seminars on nonprofit management to Eastern Oregon. The series will run for ten weeks in Baker City, La Grande, and Joseph. It is open to all community members involved in nonprofit work, but especially boards of directors and executive staff.

Cause Oregon, a consulting firm under the direction of Kim Ryals, will lead the sessions. Kim is a veteran of the nonprofit industry, with 25 years' experience assisting people with their passions.

"These sessions will cover every aspect of starting, managing and growing a nonprofit business," says Kim. "We begin with the essentials, then move into board development, strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, volunteer recruitment, and financial stewardship. We end with a complete assessment of the health of a nonprofit. Participants will leave with practical tools to grow their impact over the long haul."

The series builds a nonprofit management toolbox sequentially, but each session is a stand-alone unit as well.

Fees for attending each session are $35 per person, or the entire 10-week series for $295. Seating is limited and can be reserved by visiting https://www.causeoregon.com/workshops.
