State-wide

AOC provides assistance in governance and management to the counties of Oregon. AOC gathers information about current trends, issues, and challenges facing Oregon counties and shares that information with state Legislature, state agencies, Congress, and federal agencies. AOC provides county officials with unique opportunities to interact with their colleagues from across the state at regional and statewide gatherings.

APANO unites Asians and Pacific Islanders to build power, develop leaders, and advance equity through organizing, advocacy, community development, and cultural work.

CANN is an Oregon based 501(c)4 non-profit organization that is dedicated to advocating for the people of the three Pacific Island nations that have a unique Compact or treaty (Compact of Free Association) with the United States. The primary goal of the organization is to seek social and economic justice under the law for all COFA residents in Oregon and throughout the 50 states and the territories. The three COFA nations are: The Republic of the Marshall Islands, The Republic of Palau and the Federated States of Micronesia.

Business Oregon is the state’s economic development agency. Their core functions include rural community development and infrastructure financing; business retention, expansion and recruitment; export promotion and international trade; industry research and development and entrepreneurship; small business assistance; and support for arts and cultural organizations. BMCC is a comprehensive community college committed to providing responsive and high-quality innovative educational programs and services that promote personal and professional growth to strengthen our communities. Located in Baker County, Oregon.

EOELCN is a  network that empowers parents and early childhood care providers in Eastern Oregon by providing resources, referrals, training, and one-on-one mentoring, and supports them while they care for kids during their formative years.

EOCRN is a community engagement platform that aligns services, connects resources to fill unmet needs for community members, and accelerates impact by utilizing private sector innovation, leveraging public sector resources and mobilizing social service networks. Share resources or goods. For example, you could share surplus school supplies with those in need. Seek resources for unmet needs. For example, you are working with a family and encounter a service gap. Share service-oriented information. For example, you are conducting a health fair.

EOVA is the regional destination management organization (RDMO) as defined by Travel Oregon; representing the boundaries of Baker, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Malheur, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa and Wheeler counties and the Tribal governments therein. Their mission is to develop, market and promote the Eastern Oregon region as a destination for visitors to enhance regional economic vitality and the quality of life for all residents.

EOWB coordinates resources for job assistance, business owners, internships, training, education, grant funding, and more. The EOWB brings together business and community leaders to promote and expand workforce development activities to ensure the long-range economic vitality of the area.

Euvalcree mobilizes and engages underserved and underrepresented populations to improve the lives of all children, families and communities in RURAL Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Since its inception, EUVALCREE has galvanized a Latino population strong in number but underrepresented in leadership roles. They train leaders to build organizational structures and develop indicators to measure the effectiveness of civic, policy, and advocacy change.

TFFF is a private, non-profit foundation that makes grants to public charities and agencies predominantly benefiting communities in rural Oregon and Siskiyou County, California. In addition, the Foundation designs, manages and funds programs that aim to improve the wellbeing of children, families and communities in our region, including a scholarship program for students attending college or university. Our mission is “successful citizens and vital rural communities,” and we invest in both people and places to achieve that mission.

OCFSN is a 501(c)(3) made up of a collaboration of nonprofit organizations and allies dedicated to strengthening local and regional food systems to deliver better economic, social, health, and environmental outcomes across the state.

REV Center creates partnerships between Eastern Oregon University and public/private entities in Eastern Oregon, such Wallowa Resources, to enhance the vitality of the region and develop tomorrow’s rural workforce and leaders. The REV Center supports opportunities for meaningful interactions between students and the regional community, and fosters a talent pipeline that leads to opportunities for students to live and work in eastern Oregon after graduation.

Local

Project Submission Form: Baker, Union, and Wallowa Counties

Please use this form to submit projects for potential inclusion in the Northeast Oregon Economic Development District’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). Once projects are included, you can use the CEDS to demonstrate that your project has been listed in a regional plan. Projects should have a positive impact on economic or community development.

To be included in the CEDS, projects must have a public or non-profit sponsor. Private projects should not be submitted and will not be included in the CEDS.

The NEOEDD board will consider new project additions at their quarterly meetings.
